Yoli Amritae

Founder of Amritae Design

I’m Yoli, a Romanian designer driven by depth and truth, who has spent over a decade exploring how form can reflect essence.

My work blends strategy, aesthetics and human depth, visual design with intuitive understanding.

My Artistic Heritage

The Inherited Language of Beauty & Depth

Beauty has always been my first language.

I grew up in a household surrounded by art, books and discipline, around painters, teachers and people who believed that there is essence in form. Music, culture and visual beauty were so much more than decoration, but a way of living and understanding the world.

My grandfather, Nicolae Filoteanu, was among them: an artist and educator who left a lasting mark on Romanian visual arts education. He was known for his sensitivity to colour, the delicacy of his palette and the balance of his compositions. More than that, he formed generations of artists, transmitting not only technique, but a deep respect for drawing, painting, with so much love and devotion for art.

He believed that art requires eyes, heart and discipline, and that one must first respect what is seen before attempting to interpret it. He was so devoted to visual truth, while being a simple, dignified being with so much depth and intellectual elegance.

Together with my grandmother, Dumitra Filoteanu, also a painter and teacher in “Nicolae Tonitza” High School of Fine Arts in Bucharest, they created a universe that felt like a small living museum, especially for a curious child. Their home was filled with paintings, student sculptures, handmade objects and so many books. Even in times that were not easy, their life was cultivated by creativity and beauty.

As a child, when I wanted to attend the same prestigious art high school where my grandma was teaching, my grandfather discouraged me. He believed the life of an artist was too difficult, too uncertain. And yet, life, in its ironic ways, found its own way of bringing me back through design, a contemporary and applied form of art.

Today, I see myself as a continuation of their natural love for art: the same devotion, expressed differently. The same sensitivity to form and essence, translated into a modern visual language.

What I bring is my own layer: awareness, introspection and alignment.

I am, in many ways, a living extension of my grandparents’ world, carrying forward their respect for beauty, truth and integrity, while also allowing it to evolve through my own voice.

Design as a devotional path

translating meaning into form

I’ve been working as a graphic designer for over 14 years. I now help conscious entrepreneurs who want to express their true essence in the world, through logo design, visual identity and brand consulting.

What begins as design often becomes a process of remembering — for both me and my clients.

I don’t see my work, or myself, as something fixed. I have let go of many versions of myself: designer, teacher, seeker, to come closer to something truer and more integrated. Amritaé Design was born from this devotion to authenticity. It’s not simply a boutique design studio, but as a practice of alignment, where visual identity becomes an extension of inner truth.

The Essence of the Name

Divine Nectar

In Sanskrit, Amrita (अमृत)  means the Divine Nectar of the Gods, as Ambrosia in the Greek mythology. To me, it represents the reward of depth: what emerges when something true is brought to the surface.

Why Amritaé?

The Amritaé Signature Process, just like the churning of the ocean, brings out the essence, the Nectar (Amrit). It is more than just aesthetics, because it goes deep into the essence, the core of what your projects stands for.

This proprietary signature process pulls that core up to the surface and the final design is built on this authentic foundation.

Working in Alignment

To Translate essence into form

I’ve worked with clients across the world, founders, teachers, therapists, and creatives, who wanted something deeper,  a sense that everything they share, say and show finally feels like them.

If you value thoughtfulness, precision and meaning in what you create, we speak the same language. Because my work is not just about design, it’s about giving visual form to the essence of your work, so your presence in the world feels aligned, confidentand unmistakably yours.
